Notes for Library Administrators:

• The biggest additional cost this year is staffing related.

• Library staff are one of the library's most valuable assets in providing world-class service to patrons and in creating life-long library users for generations to come (Fasik & Holt, 2013).

​​

• It is then appropriate that the budget allocates the largest portion of this funding to ensure the staff are some of the most prepared and educated in the field.

ECL for Caregivers Budgetary Information: The library has allocated budgetary resources in order to provide caregivers with notebooks, pens, handouts, use of existing resources (room, tables, chairs, white board, markers, information packers, folders) at no cost to them.

ECL for Staff Budgetary Information: The library has allocated budgetary resources in order to provide staff with notebooks, pens, information packets, and handouts. The library has also allocated additional pay, overtime approval, and coverage options for library staff who are not scheduled to work during the monthly ECL workshop time.
